TADVIC is a Victorian based not for profit organisation that was founded in 1975 to provide technical assistance to people with disabilities when commercially available solutions are unsuitable. TADVIC's occupational therapists and technical volunteers work closely with each client to design and make or modify equipment to suit their specific requirement.
TADVIC’s aim is to improve the quality of life of both clients and carers, increase their physical independence and provide them with opportunities to do things they once may not have thought possible.
The TADVIC service is free of charge. Clients reimburse volunteers for materials and travel expenses only, and volunteers use their own workshops and give their time and skills freely.
